Hello, new friend! My name is Princess Maya, and my name has a very special meaning—From God!
Isn’t that wonderful? It reminds me that God created me with love and gave me a special purpose. And guess what? He created YOU with love and a special purpose, too!
God is amazing! I am His just like He said in Psalms 24:1 (NIV): “The earth is the Lord ’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;”
I love being a princess! I enjoy wearing my beautiful royal gowns, spending time with my friends, and discovering all the wonderful things God has created. But do you want to know a little secret?
My crown isn’t what makes me special. God does! Sometimes, I look up at the big, beautiful sky and wonder about all the amazing things God has made. The twinkling stars, colorful flowers, fluttering butterflies, and even the tiniest little bugs remind me of His wonderful creativity. And then I think, “Wow! God made all these beautiful things, and He made ME, too!” That makes my heart so happy!
I believe God gives each of us special gifts and talents. Some of us love to sing, dance, draw, read, build things, or help others. We don’t all have to be good at the same things because God created each of us to be wonderfully unique.
One of my favorite things to do is encourage my friends. Sometimes, when someone feels sad or thinks they aren’t good enough, I remind them that they are precious in God’s eyes. I might say, “Hey, friend! Did you know there’s only one YOU in the whole wide world? That’s pretty amazing! You’re pretty amazing!” And you know what? It’s true!
Being a princess isn’t just about wearing a sparkling tiara or living in a beautiful castle. To me, being a princess means loving God, being kind to others, sharing my gifts, and remembering that everything good comes from Him. Encouragement is my special royal assignment from God!
Whenever someone asks me what makes me a princess, I proudly say:
“I came from God’s loving heart! He created me with purpose, filled me with wonderful gifts, and made me one of a kind. I am precious, I am loved, and I belong to Him!”
So, remember my new friend, you are wonderfully made by God, too!
